Select on any of the categories you think your product belongs to. The categories are the following: groceries, special treats, rice, cakes,  flowers & gifts, lechon, supplies, gadgets, appliances and motorcycles.

After selecting a product category, you will be directed to a “categories page.” On the left side portion of the said page, you will see the different “sub-categories” under such category. For example, under the “grocery category”, you will see “baby food, baby powder, body wash, etc.” sub-categories.

Checking your Shopping Cart

Proceed to the upper right portion of BayanMall website and look for the “light blue button with shopping cart icon” of the BayanMall website page. Displayed on this button are the number of items you have already purchased. Hover your mouse over the said button and you will see the details of your purchase. You can click on “view cart” or “checkout”.

Click “View Cart” and you will see the product image, product name, model number, quantity, unit price, sub-total amount and total amount of your purchase. If you want to purchase other products, click “continue shopping.” If you are satisfied with the products you purchased, click “checkout.”

In using the different payment methods, what must the client do? What procedures should be followed by the client?

Once client purchases products from BayanMall websit, he or she pays for the online purchase through:

a.Paypal
- Client Opens a paypal account
- He/she then links this account to his credit card
- The client can now pay with his credit card through the Paypal payment  gateway in BayanMall Website.
- Once payment is made, the latter is reflected in BayanMall system. 
- When payment is confirmed, BayanMall starts processing the order.
- Client shall be informed through email regarding the status of his/her order.

b.Money Remittance (please see list above)
- Client sends money through money remittance centers "affiliated" with  Western Union and M. Lhuillier Branches.
- The remittance is addressed to an authorized representative of BayanMall.
- As proof of payment, sender scans and emails the remittance receipt to BayanMall.
- BayanMall Authorized representative goes to the remittance center branch and presents the tracking number and remittance details to get the  payment.
- Bayan Mall Authorized representative then turnover the cash payment together with the supporting documents and receipts to Finance.
- When payment is received and confirmed, BayanMall starts processing the order.
- Client shall be informed through email regarding the status of his/her order.

c.Bank-to-Bank Transfer
- Client sends money through bank transfer.  
- The transaction is addressed to an authorized representative of BayanMall and BayanMall bank account.
- As proof of payment, sender scans and emails the bank deposit slip to BayanMall.
- BayanMall Authorized representative goes to the bank and presents the bank transfer details to get the payment.
- Bayan Mall Authorized representative then turnover the cash payment  together with the supporting documents and receipts to Finance.
- When payment is confirmed, BayanMall starts processing the order.
- Client shall be informed through email regarding the status of his/her order

Do you have a minimum purchase amount per order?

Yes. Your minimum amount per order must be Php 500. If your total purchase fails to reach the minimum order, you will be charged a minimum order fee of Php 500 in addition to the total value of all our purchases.

 

When can I place my order thru your website? Is there a specific time to do online shopping at BayanMall?

You can place your order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our competent operations team will "process" your order  Mondays thru Saturdays, 9am to 6pm (Philippine Standard Time).

 

What does "process your order" mean?

Processing of order involves several factors. It includes selection, preparation, checking and packing of products you ordered. It also includes communication and exchange of pertinent documents, invoices and all other factors involved with the products before it is delivered or readied for pick-up. 

 

How does BayanMall accept and collect orders?

BayanMall accepts and collects orders 24 hour a day, seven days a week. Once payment has been made, these orders shall be processed and prepared for delivery immediately the very next day.   The recipient will normally receive the package within three (3) to Five (5) working days from the date of payment confirmation.

Under certain circumstances and other various reasons, please take note that delivery of cargo to a particular address maybe re-routed to a nearest pick-up location (e.g. Cargo Forwarder logistics problem, Cargo Forwarder access problems, lack of Cargo Forwarder area branches, force majeure, road repairs, landslide, etc.). In the event this occurs, BayanMall shall inform the cargo sender and the cargo recipient the complete details of the rerouting. The client sending the package or the recipient shall bear the additional cost for these circumstances.  

There are  instances where a purchase order cannot be processed immediately or is delayed.  BayanMall shall require you to provide additional data or information or verification before we accept or before we process and deliver you order.  BayanMall and its Site reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason at any given time. 

In case the products you ordered are unavailable in our inventory, BayanMall reserves the right to replace such product with the same kind but of a different brand with equal or greater value ensuring that you get quality and value for your money.

 

Do I receive an invoice for my purchase order?

In every purchase order transaction,  you will be sent an invoice together with a control number. In some instances, the control number maybe used by your recipient to claim the products you ordered.

 

What happens if a product is out of stock and you already placed an order for a certain product?

Though we always update our system and inventory to make sure we that we have all products available in our site, it is unavoidable that stocks run out and prices are changed by our suppliers. In case the product you ordered are unavailable in our inventory, Bayan Mall reserves the right to replace such product with the same kind but of a different brand with equal or greater value ensuring that you get quality and value for your money.

 

Do you have warranty over your products?

Yes, subject to the existing warranty policy of the product manufacturers. Please refer to your product manufacturer's warranty guidelines.

 

What are the additional charges aside from the total amount of the items shopped?

Shipping cost, delivery fees, value added tax, Paypal charges or credit card charges may be added to the total amount purchased. These information can be viewed completely before you check out. However, there are products that are for pick-up only and from time to time BayanMall offers promotions like free delivery. During these instances, there is no need to pay shipping cost or freight charges.

 

Do you charge VAT?

Yes, we charge VAT or Valued added tax as required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue on transactions involving sale or retail of goods and products. The VAT rate in the Philippines is 12%.

 

Why have I not received an order confirmation?

This may rarely happen. But if it does, reasons for not receiving an order confirmation may vary. Either payment didn’t go through, wrong email address was registered by the sender or our system had undergone maintenance check. Please report this incident to us immediately though our hotline, email (chatsupport@bayanmall.com) or through our live chat support.

 

What are the delivery methods with regards items and products offered by BayanMall? Is "pick-up of products" possible?

Items and products offered by BayanMall maybe delivered or picked-up  depending on the nature, fragility, category, supplier visibility and availability of these products. Delivery methods maybe by air cargo, sea cargo or land cargo. 

 

What products are for delivery? What are those that are for pick-up?

Products for delivery are: gadgets, flowers and groceries.

Products for Pick-up and Delivery: rice, cakes, lechon, appliances, furniture, motorcyles and meat.

Products can be picked-up or delivered depending on the product ordered and depending upon the conditions set by our suppliers.  Please take note of the delivery or pick-up information provided beside in each and every product on the Bayanmall website.

What are pick-up locations?

Pick-up locations are business establishments, suppliers branches or business partners located all over the Philippines. Pick-up locations are posted beside every product. What if the person I have identified to pick up the items cannot make it, can I send a representative to do it?

Yes.  The representative must present  at least two (2) valid government issued I.D.s of himself/herself  and  an "authorization letter" authorizing him/her to pick-up the products or items ordered. The authorization letter must be signed by the person originally identified to pick-up the items or products. Attached with the authorization letter must be a photocopy of a valid government issued I.D. of the person originally identified to pick-up the items or products. The photocopy must be duly signed by the latter.

 

Do you deliver products "outside" the Philippines?

No. Products orders are either delivered or for pick-up within Philippine territory only. Online shoppers can shop at www.bayanmall.com even if they are outside the Philippines. But delivery or pick-up is limited within Philippine territory only.

 

Do you have suppliers all over the Philippines, even in far flung areas, towns  and provinces?

Do you deliver on a specific date?

We do not guarantee delivery or pick-up of products on a specific date. What we guarantee is that the products you ordered will be delivered or will be ready for pick-up within three (3) to five (5) working days.

 

Do you deliver on Sundays?

No, we do not have  product deliveries on Sundays. Delivery of products depend on the cargo operations of our cargo forwarders. Almost all Philippine cargo forwarders do not deliver on Sundays.

 

How many days will it take for the items to arrive?

Items purchased are expected to be delivered to your intended recipient within three (3) to five (5) working days  from the date "payment confirmation" is sent to you by BayanMall. Holidays are not included in the counting of days. BayanMall or its cargo forwarders do not guarantee exact time and date for the delivery of products. What is guaranteed is the delivery of the product within three (3) to five (5) working days.

 

What currencies can I use when i do online shopping at BayanMall online shopping?

Online shoppers may choose the dollar or peso currency when they shop.  BayanMall system  will automatically convert the prices of the products to the currency the online shopper has chosen.
